Let go I know that you’re sorry So tangled up in blame It’s about time we bury the hatchet You’re transparent these days like a ghost Just take a little time To catch your breath, alleviate your mind The past remains the past The here and now has come around so don’t look backwards All of the seasons are writing us reasons to just move forwards The walls have been lowered the wounds have scarred over so Let go I know that you’re sorry So tangled up in blame It’s about time we bury the hatchet You’re transparent these days like a ghost The tension in the air Has got me thinking that it’s time to share The broken thoughts inside our heads And maybe we can fix them in the end For the sky still shines in vibrate shades of blue For the sky still shines in vibrate shades of Don’t look backwards All of the seasons are writing us reasons to just move forwards The walls have been lowered the wounds have scarred over so Let go I know that you’re sorry So tangled up in blame It’s a damn shame life isn’t perfect And we’re the ones who pay for these ghosts There’s nothing left for us to say You’ve made up your mind And now we’re up and on our way There’s nothing left for us to say You’ve made up your mind And now we’re on to better days Let go I know that you’re sorry So tangled up in blame It’s about time we bury the hatchet You’re transparent these days like a ghost Like a ghost

I never thought that we would all be here again And let me tell you it feels like home Ten years ago we fell apart, threw this all away What could have been we’ll never know Can you hear the sound? It’s holding out, it’s crying out for us to take Cause I’ll be waiting Keep holding out, keep crying out for us so loud Cause I’ll be waiting At thirty I wish I could go back and tell myself Love each movement, it goes by so fast Cherish every single second with all you have Cause when your time is up You’ll never get to do this again Can you hear the sound? It’s holding out, it’s crying out for us to take Cause I’ll be waiting Keep holding out, keep crying out for us so loud Cause I’ll be waiting And when this moment ends Will we be here hand and hand again? Hear the sound? It’s holding out, it’s crying out for us to take Cause I’ll be waiting Keep holding out, keep crying out for us so loud Cause I’ll be waiting And when this moment ends Will we be here hand and hand again? I’ve seen forever come and go So wonderful, so beautiful Did it ever occur to you that live could be this way? I don’t think so I don’t think so

The story goes there was a time when she could laugh Pretend all her pain away But that’s over and she knows it They broke her will They broke her body well No excuses can help their case They’ll learn to regret this Wait till your sins are found Your screams will be a breathless sound It all comes around Save yourself for the pain They take and take and take It’s time to settle up and pay the price It all comes around You confessed on the day You ran away from all the things your family had the nerve to say That you father and you mother and you sister and your brother Had the nerve to say You don’t mean anything You’re not worth anything Wait till your sins are found Your screams will be a breathless sound It all comes around Save yourself for the pain They take and take and take It’s time to settle up and pay the price It all comes around She tears through the ground Deep enough to make it Close enough to taste it You can see the fear as she nails their closures down They cry out for air And as they scratch and plead She asks some simple things Do you want to know who’s waiting there for you? Do you want to see them reaching out for you? Do you want to hear them calling out for you? Do you want to meet them? The story goes there was a girl who took a chance and buried her pain away That’s over and done with They never thought about the consequence and it’s too late to take it back No matter She’s free now

Left Unsaid 05:13
When your body fell And withered away from a broken heart Like a statue weathered to dust You were all alone Without a soul left to hold your hand Or wish you well as you were lost Did you really want things to end this way? Such a shame Cause now your gone and I’m still fighting you for everything The mistakes of the ones you love Can tear you down What were you waiting for? Cause I can’t hear you now Oh no I’ll spend a lifetime searching for answers I could never understand Oh no Was it really just too much to take? Was a family just too much to bear? Were there times that you wanted to stay? Did we really push you away? I’m asking Was our life just a little too plain? Were you embarrassed? Did you feel ashamed? Did you ever think of what could be? Did you ever think at all of me? I’m asking I can barely remember moments of life before that day With an apathetic self-serving reason You said goodbye packed your bags and threw us all away The mistakes of the ones you love Will tear you down over and over and over again When did you forsake? I’m still waiting on an answer from you Help me understand please set me free of you

about

Out of Service is an alt rock outfit from Voorhees, NJ. The band originally formed in 2002 while Bryan Williams (guitar), Mike Capuano (vocals), Brian McGovern (bass), and Ken Bond (drums) were in high school. They played regionally for nearly a decade with a few different lineups over the years. The group ultimately called it quits as educational and professional endeavors took the members in different directions. After reconnecting in 2015, the original members of Out of Service began writing and playing again, resulting in what would become their new EP, What We Bring with Us. Mixed and mastered by Nathan Hussey (All Get Out), What We Bring with Us is something that ranges from raw distortion and soaring vocals to soft, reflective melodies.
